Buy and fly! brand identity redesign

- Buy and fly! was a points based rewards company, similar to airmiles. After winning a pitch to do their design one of the first jobs was to redesign their existing photographic logo.
The photographic logo that buy and fly! used was, in my opinion, wrong for a lot of reasons.
Firstly it was a photo, so it meant the file could not be used too largely without there being pixilation. Also the trail coming from the plane was not a good look in these environmental times. However, to change this trail in to an illustrated slogan seemed to get around this issue.
The plane, and its trailing swoosh, encompassed the name line and so the whole logo worked much better as a compact logo. Now that it was a vector logo it also meant that it could be used at any size required.
