  • "Perhaps the most valuable output of the year was the infographic on Continuous Cover Forestry... I thought this was a very nice document which clearly stated the many benefits of CCF." Quote taken from the CCFG Chair's Report, June 2024.

Using both texture and the Forestry Commission colour palette, this illustration was for an infographic about continuous cover forestry (the use of natural regeneration to create a varied forest structure containing a range of species).

I particularly liked the rays of light I managed to create through the trees' canopies to the woodland floor. I also like the grass area that was enhanced by a paper texture, this allowed space for the copy - which had to be accessible and screen read.

It was great to see the feedback from CCFG (who the design was produced for in conjunction with the Forestry Commission) that it was "the most valuable output of the year."
