Everton FC Extra Time football themed classroom design

I designed large-scale digital montages in Photoshop to bring the classroom walls to life and make it a vibrant, exciting and colourful learning environment. The top images show my visual designs and then the photographs show how those designs translated and worked in the actual classroom.

Below was my design for the current squad wall. This was designed so each panel was one metre wide and if a player left the panel could be replaced with a new panel of a new signing. The crowd image would stay the same so the visual flow was seamless, it just required cutting out the new player and applying him to the background.

A really nice piece was the tribute to Dixie Dean. This required me hand tinting black and white photos in Photoshop to give them a new, stylised colour look. Again, this was another big Photoshop montage which worked really well as I knocked back the opacity of the other players in order for Dixie to really stand out. The photos of the actual classroom below give an indication of the scale this work was produced at and also show the additional walls where scenes of Liverpool were used (as it was felt that some of the pupils attending had not even seen these historic landmarks that were on their doorstep).
