Liverpool FC redesign of Anfield frontage
- Category: Retail
- Designed while at GVC
The frontage of Anfield was starting to be a hotchpotch of visual designs, the front alone feature three different crests (the official logo, the 70’s liverbird and a retail logo from the George Davis group). The design cleans up all the clutter and adds some order to the frontage. Introducing window vinyls and differentiating between the store and the museum freshened up the. Using News Gothic in upper and lower case rather than the dominant heavy black font originally used also allowed for more white space, a friendlier feel and a cleaner, fresher look.
Other Liverpool projects I have designed include LFC advertising, LFC Corporate Hospitality brochure, Liverpool FC kiosks, Liverpool FC museums, Liverpool FC cards, Liverpool FC Redzone, the design of the Shankly and Paisley lounges and retail graphics for Liverpool FC stores.
