Destruction Derby 2's logo was a real step change from version one's which was a photographic design, bright, brash and hand-made distressed type.

The look and feel for Destruction Derby 2 needed, in my opinion, to move away from its predecessor. I wanted a strong, colourful and yet simple logo but one with flexibility.

As much as I loved the component and parts of the first Destruction Derby logo it did not have any flexibility, it had to be used as it was. My new version enabled me to use the brand in one line, move the numeral, add debris and speed lines (or move them when required) - overall offering much greater design flexibility when the logo was applied to packaging and advertising.
