Based in Liverpool, England, I'm an award-winning Graphic Designer and Creative Director.
With almost twenty years industry experience working in agencies and in-house, and having designed for a wealth of well known brands and clients, I can offer great and innovative design solutions to help promote your brand awareness. Need to learn Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign or find your way around a mac? I have a wealth of experience in training both adults and students in both design, graphics and computer software.
I was very pleased when the critically acclaimed Computer Arts magazine show-cased some of my work in a 2 page profile. My work has also featured in several issues of Creative Review magazine highlighting work I have designed for adidas and Sony.
Brand identity
I've worked on the West Bromwich Albion crest, Stoke City and their Academy crests, the National Quilt Museum identity through to idents for Sony Playstation games. I've worked with big names (and small!) and applied designs to a wide range of brand guidelines.
Retail Design and Graphics
From promotional window displays for Radley through to revamping the graphics for Liverpool FC's club stores. Plus, I was a Senior Designer working at WHSmith on their retail and stores' look so bring a wealth of expertise to this area.
Advertising and design for print
Ads for Sony and adidas and Liverpool FC through to brochures for Liverpool John Moores University and direct mail for Littlewoods.
Packaging and Point of Sale
Packaging for Sony Playstation games and promotional material. Point of sale and packaging for Psygnosis PC titles, plus POS for Radley.
Digital illustration and Photoshop manipulation/retouch
From Photoshop manipulation and retouching through to illustration and product visualisation.
Interior Graphics and Visualisation
Designing the interiors for Everton FC's study support centre, through to working on the Liverpool FC museum and lounges.
Photography and videography
I have been a photographer for The Belvedere Academy shooting well known celebrities and also key school calendar events such as Results' Day and Prize Giving/Speech Night where you only get one chance to deliver (often in non-studio based locations). I have produced and edited a varied range of videos and animations for the Forestry Commission.
Design for education
Having also been a teacher, I understand the education sector extremely well and how to design for its many audiences. I have a wide range of work from adverts, prospectus design to brand refreshes and interior graphics. I also have many year's experience of school photography and applying this imagery into bespoke, education based design work.
